Terms of Service

Welcome to Premature Tap (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the game, you agree to these Terms.

1) The Game

• Practice: unlimited attempts; no leaderboard submission; no video recording.
• Leaderboard: one attempt per calendar day in the America/Chicago time zone. We may enforce limits using a device cookie and other signals.
• Your public display name is either First Last or a social handle (TikTok/Instagram/X) with a 3-letter country code.
• Leaderboard ranking is based on absolute distance to the daily target time; ties may be broken by submission time.

2) Acceptable Use

• No cheating, tampering, or automation (including scripts, macros, or modified clients).
• No attempts to bypass the one-play-per-day limit or falsify identity/location.
• No offensive, harassing, or trademark-violating names/handles. We may hide or remove entries at our discretion.

3) Content & Sharing

• In Leaderboard mode, the app may capture the canvas to a short video for you to download or share.
• You’re responsible for anything you share. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host/serve your clip for product features (e.g., previews), subject to our retention practices.
• We may show referral parameters in links (e.g., ?ref=handle) to support “Beat me” challenges.

4) Changes, Availability & Moderation

We may update the game, reset scores, change rules, or remove content at any time to protect the experience.

5) Disclaimers & Liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the game.
